This gala concert was held to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the great theatrical composer Richard Rodgers. It starred Philip QuastMaria Friedman, Ruthie Henshall, and Gary Wilmot, with Henry Goodman as The Master of Ceremonies, with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe.
